The purpose of the Public Hearing is to consider the following: Subdivision Exemption Application for a property consolidation filed by Ashley & Jarrod Dalton in Mesta, on Geronimo Rd, Costilla County, Colorado.

Revise Resolution 2023-016.  A resolution amending the Costilla County Land Use Code to regulate fences in Costilla County.

The planning commission and the Costilla County Board of County Commissioners are considering the following amendments or changes to the regulation in Resolution Numbers 2023-16 and 2024-12: Adding a definition that a gate, regardless of length, height, or if left open or closed, shall be considered continuous as part of the fence. The Planning Commission and the Costilla County Board of County Commissioners will also consider other amendments to the Resolution as presented by the public or the planning commission or the Costilla County Board of County Commissioners.
