Transfer Station Attendant
Costilla County is hiring an attendant to serve the public at the two solid waste transfer stations in the county. This is a full-time position. Benefits can be earned after a 90-day probationary period. The starting wage is $14 per hour / $29,120 per year. Work hours are Tuesday through Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., which includes an hour lunch break. Time will be split each day between the San Luis Transfer Station and the Fort Garland Transfer Station. Must have a valid Colorado Driver’s License. Background checks may be required. Physical requirements include bending, sitting and standing for extended periods of time, lifting up to 40-lbs with or without assistance and being outside in all kinds of weather.

Public Health Nurse / Registered Nurse
Costilla County Public Health Agency is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide Public Health Nursing in Costilla County.
The position will provide skilled nursing services including Immunizations, Communicable Disease control, and support in prevention areas/programs and Core Public Health Services.
A baccalaureate degree in nursing from a school accredited by the National League of Nursing is required. Public Health experience preferred.
Current license (in good standing) to practice as a registered nurse (RN) in Colorado.
